A mural can be anything from a small motif right up to an entire room including the ceiling. All murals are painted using artists acrylics, which are low odour and non-toxic, acrylics also have the advantage of being wipe clean.

The subject matter is entirely the decision of the client although if it is a childs mural I would advise choosing a theme that will not outdate or be outgrown quickly.

The murals can be added to at any point and are easily painted over when need be,( I find one coat of primer followed by one or two coats of wall paint is usually sufficient.).

The process is by no means messy the only inconvenience being the need to clear a small space for access on the wall being worked on.

Also available is the opportunity to transform a whole room including providing bespoke furniture and soft furnishings or decorating existing furniture to complete the fantasy.

The murals are not of course restricted to being indoors, the paints are weather proof, resistant to water and fading from sunlight, (however in Portugal it is best to avoid using reds in spaces that are in constant direct sunlight as they will degrade) making them suitable for any outdoor environment.

For older children and adults we can offer the skills of trompe l'oeil artists. If you have an awkward space or a problem with lighting then the illusions of trompe l'oeil can completely transform an area.

Handpainted furniture can be decororated in situe or at my studio whichever is preferable, whatever style of environment can be matched whether distressed shabby chic or a sharp modern design, so rather than relegating a tired piece of furniture to the shed why not revamp it?
